(I was a pretty great kid in my opinion)
If you were to ask me how I got to this point in my life, I have to say by pure luck and some hidden skill.
I've had a blog since my freshmen year of high school, so I guess you could state that I've got a dependancy on them. I still haven't grown tired of venting to an unknown audience. I cannot trace back the moment when I fell in love with photography, the first time I bought a sketch book, or that instant when my doodles became designs. My parents banked on me doing something involving business, or music due to the endless amount of time they spent sending me to various schools and lessons. To be honest I couldn't imagine sitting behind a desk, I've got the soul of a run away.
Born and raised in the shadows of a metropolis, I managed to get into the Fashion Institute of Technology with very little artistic/ design training. I study Communication Design (the foundation for graphic, advertising and packaging design), and ultimately I want to do it all. My first love is film, but I often find myself loving the connivence of digital, I adore clean and simple design, but can branch out, and I have an extremely warped drawing/painting technique. I'm still a work of progress struggling to stand out in my own way.
